This unique home found on Ideas to Steal is located just 5 minutes away from Barcelona and features a stunning combination of old and new. Recently renovated for a young couple with two children, the crib kept most of its initial design details intact. The ceiling height with its tile roof and wooden beams and brick walls were preserved, but the overall structure of the house was changed. The architects added a second floor to locate the master bedroom and free up all the bottom, where the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom for children are. The master bedroom has a nostalgic and evocative atmosphere, reminding of the old industrial neighborhood in the area. The room was decorated using recovered antiques and intriguing vintage details.
