Sleek Ocean Liner Inspired Croatian Hotel in Rovinj: Hotel Lone

Having designed Hotel Lone as a fabulously contemporary place to enjoy a vacation, 3LHD Architects searched for better ways to induce a feeling of comfort and relaxation suited for those blissful days without work. Located in Rovinj, Croatia, in the exclusive Monte Mulini neighborhood, the hotel features 248 rooms – all conceived to offer exceptional services and quality facilities. Inspired by the typology of 1970s Croatian hotels, Hotel Lone displays a stunning resemblance to a “sleek white ocean liner floating on the hillside“. Guests checking in can enjoy the multitude of services and facilities the hotel has to offer: three restaurants, three bars and a night club, a Mediterranean-inspired wellness center, a 600-seat auditorium and nine meeting and conference spaces featuring state-of-the-art technology. Organized to resemble the Croatian coast terraced hotels with large lobbies, Hotel Lone features “a “Y”-shaped structure created along the coast to give all rooms spectacular sea or park views, and a dramatic hotel lobby opens up towards the sky with an atrium spanning six levels. Respect for the environment is shown in the interior design, with integration of the natural surroundings into many of the hotel’s public and private spaces through large glass walls and mirrors.“ Did the hotel’s architecture and interior design convince you to spend one of your holidays there?
